Helping you shoot for the moon

Process creation, help pages, and tutorial videos

There are tons of great tools on the internet now: tools like WordPress, which allows you to edit and update your own site (more on WordPress); tools like 1ShoppingCart, which let you sell products on your site and take money online; tools like Feedburner and aWeber, which let you run email campaigns and newsletters. Lots of great stuff.

But with all these tools available to you, each with its own system and tons of different options, it's easy to feel really overwhelmed.

You just want to know how to add a new page to your site, a new product to your shop – but it seems like it could take a couple of hours just to figure out which fields you need to fill out. Too… many… options!

I like things nice and tidy. I like to create order out of chaos. I like making things easy to do.

I can create nice simple processes, with nice clear instructions, to make clear paths for you through the wilderness.

How does it work?

As always, we start with a chat. You tell me what you need to be able to do every week / month – your common online tasks. I then look at your online resources (eg website, shopping cart, whatever you're working with) and figure out the simplest method for those tasks. Then I go away and write them up for you, so that you have a little manual with step-by-step instructions for your most common tasks.

Can you do the same for my site's visitors?

Totally. Sometimes people need a little help to get to know a site. I can create help pages on how to use your site – I can even make little tutorial videos to show people how to do things like edit their account, or post in your forum.

How much does it cost?

That will depend totally on what you need. If it was me who built your site, obviously I'll already know it very well, so it'll be easy for me to create these kinds of documents. If your system is new to me, it'll take a little longer.

The best thing to do is drop me a line (you can use the form below, or email me at info@artemisdesign.co.uk) and tell me a little about your situation, what you'd like to achieve. Once we've had a chat, I'll be in a better position to give you some numbers. And don't worry – chatting with me doesn't commit you to anything, so feel free to get in touch.
