Your design converted to a WordPress site or theme
Sometimes, you know what you want. And all you need is to get that built.
If you already have a design for your site – whether you designed it yourself, or someone else designed it for you – I can turn that into a fully functional WordPress website. (WordPress allows you to update your own website without needing to know any code. It's fab. Here's some more info on WordPress.)
All you'll need to do is send me your design – you may have designed in Photoshop, for example, so you can just send me your .psds – and I'll code the templates. If you already have a WordPress site, I can send you a WordPress theme of your design. If you don't have a site yet, I'll build it for you.
I write nice clean standards-compliant code, and take pride in making every theme I create as easy to work with as possible, so your design is in good hands.
Examples
- Fabeku Fatunmise of Sankofa Song Sound Healing is a creative soul. He knew what he wanted in his website, and designed it himself using Photoshop. He just needed it turned into a real working website. So he sent me the header image, the colour codes, and the buttons, and I made it happen. (Am now suppressing the urge to do a Picard impression. I mentioned I was a geek, right?)
- Amna of The Pragmatic Hybrid had a lovely shiny new design from a marvellous designer, and needed it turned into a WordPress theme. She sent me the .psd, I did the rest.
Awesome! How much does it cost, and how do we get started?
That depends on the complexity of the design, and how many different page templates there are. For a relatively straightforward site we're probably looking at about £250-£500.
But the nice thing about this kind of work is that it's very easy to quote for! So feel free to send me over your design files, and I'll give you a quote. You can email me at info@artemisdesign.co.uk.
I suggest you send a quick covering email first, without attachments, so I know to expect the files – if your files are very big, they may get stuck in the aether, and I wouldn't you thinking I was ignoring you when in fact I'd never got your email.
In fact, you might want to consider sending files via a free service such as mailbigfile.com, just to be on the safe side.
